We MUST pray for our artists

The last couple of days, I've been taking for granted the stance of most of the artists here in the U.S. I've been struck over and over again with the conviction that we should pray for these people on a regular basis as they have such an impact on culture. But furthermore, they're HUMAN BEINGS! We should pray for these people as much as we pray for our friends and family. Especially since we are in a way connected to them. By experiencing art, we become intimate aquaintances with the artist (at least they become so to us). In other words, even though the artist may not know who we are, we know them and I feel that we should be praying for these people. Here are some suggestions and ideas for what to pray for:

To find God

To find peace

To find understanding

To find answers

To find hope

To find comfort

To find strength

To find relief

To find fulfilment

To find light

To experience God's presence

To come into contact with Christians

That God will keep them close and they will realize how much HE LOVES THEM!!!
