PC nostalgia
So I'm in this computer lab at UIowa and I decided to use a PC machine instead of logging into one of the Macs over in the corner. I use Macs all the time for film projects and for my job. I love Macs - they're glossy, fast, chic and a little hipster (they would be more hipster if they were typewriters).
But over time, I have come to miss the feeling of a PC. There is something that is refreshingly lowbrow about them.
My nostalgia for PCs: it's the railroad man, not the information highway.
But then again...who cares?
