Harmony

Wait and hope

In downtown Iowa City, there were these sculptures of books representing different famous books or literary ideas. I saw the following inscription several times a day. It helped so much.

Until the day when God will deign to reveal the future to man, the sum of all human wisdom is contained in these words-- "wait and hope." --The Count of Monte Cristo Alexandre Du Mas

A short poem on fasting

...and I only eat on days when I'm not fasting and praying which I'm pretty sure are 99.9% of all--my--days.
