A question in medicine:

During my Paidea II course, "Healthcare Ethics," the subject of death was raised. When exactly is it that death occurs? How dead is dead enough, say, for the removal of organs for transplant?

Well, my instructor put it simply:

"Well, to put it simply" she said, "for most of us in the medical profession, the answer is a no-brainer..."
